The kettlebell is an immensely powerful tool.

And you are an immensely powerful woman.

(or maybe you train immensely powerful women!)

Do you know how to fully harness that power?

SNATCH: A Female-Inclusive Approach to Kettlebell Training

is for you!

  • For too long, the specific needs of women in fitness have not been fully addressed.

  • For too long, women have put up with symptoms of pain, incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse made worse by fitness instruction and participation that doesn't acknowledge the structural differences between male and female bodies.

  • For too long, women have been intimidated by kettlebells and haven't been able to reap the myriad benefits of this incredible tool.

 Let's change that.

Launching in June, SNATCH: A Female-Inclusive Approach to Kettlebell Training will address the needs of women throughout all chapters of their athleticism.

  • You'll learn why women need an approach that takes their pelvic health into consideration.

  • You'll learn how to approach training during pregnancy, postpartum, and into menopause.

  • You'll learn fundamental kettlebell skills like the swing, the Turkish get-up, and the clean and a strategy that allows for better pressure management (meaning, less leaking and more lifting!)

  • You'll learn how to assess yourself or your client for readiness to train various movements in the hardstyle kettlebell system and, if determined that one should not "pass go", you'll learn alternatives.

  • You'll gain critical thinking skills that will transfer over to any and all activities, not just kettlebell training.

  • You'll finish with a solid understanding of how to implement a kettlebell training practice into your busy life, and how to have FUN doing it.

  • You'll hear from kettlebell experts and enthusiasts and learn how they implement kettlebell training into their lives and their clients' programs.

  • You'll gain an appreciation for your strength and your body's incredible capacity to demonstrate how powerful you truly are!

Coaching you through this, I'll be with you to help you navigate working with kettlebells as I do with my personal clients, and in my own personal training.

I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, hold a level two RKC certification, and have over 12 years of personal training experience. I completed both RKC certifications while managing pelvic organ prolapse, a condition I became aware of after having my son. With little guidance, I had to figure out how to accomplish that task without worsening my symptoms. With the help of world-renowned physical therapists and coaches, I discovered ways to manage my symptoms and keep doing what I love.

In early 2017, I contributed a kettlebell training portion to Brianna Battles' Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism course. In October, I presented a portion of A Female-Specific Approach to Kettlebell Training in Australia at the Women's Health and Fitness Summit teaching athletes and coaches how to manipulate breath, tension, alignment, and pressure to best serve their female bodies. I've spent the last three years (of my 13 years coaching) working in-person exclusively with perinatal clients and working with a staff of trainers to implement strategies that optimize training, performance, and the deep core system of women during vulnerable chapters.

Now, I'm so excited to share this strength and strategy with you!
